Professional Lightscaping is a service providing you with all the creative garden lighting ideas which can be applied to your garden, whether it be an established garden or a plan awaiting implementation, together with a suggested lighting layout, transformer and cabling details and the option of an installation service in many areas. Don't guess at your lighting design and risk costly mistakes when a professional lighting service is just a click away.
Professional Lightscaping for your
garden
We offer a system design service to
designers and garden owners within our main service area, which is
North London & Home Counties and most of East Anglia from our
Letchworth Garden City office - within that area we can also offer
you an installation service through one of our six experienced
installation partners. Elsewhere we have a network of design
associates across the country who can design or install a system for
you; call us on 01462 486777 or e-mail us with your contact details
to arrange a convenient initial consultation, which is usually free!
Where this is not available, for the larger project, we can quote you
for a personal design visit.
Postal and e-mail design services
We offer a postal or
e-mail design service starting at £100.00 plus VAT for a garden
area up to 100 m2 (£200 plus VAT for up to 200 m2);
send us a scale plan of the garden and photographs of the house, key
focal points and any significant features such as mature trees. We
will provide a suggested lighting layout, together with transformer
and cabling suggestions, plus installation notes where appropriate.
Send your details with a cheque payable to Lighting for Gardens
Limited, 20 Furmston Court, Letchworth Garden City, Hertfordshire,
SG6 1UJ, or pay online and e-mail your plans and digital photos for a
reply in the same medium. While in the UK we recommend the personal
service of a design associate where available, clients with an
overseas property may wish to use the postal or e-mail service
coupled with delivery direct to an expatriate or second home
location.
Our online shop can now
accept the e-mail design fee (order code begins DESIGN-E) or you can
call us on 01462 486777 with your credit card details if you prefer;
you can then send a plan and photographs in jpeg format as e-mail
attachments.
Your plan should
indicate the proposed power source (usually from the fuseboard or,
for small systems, a spur from a socket in the conservatory, say),
the switching position or method (for example if you want a timer,
photocell or remote control system) and your ideas for circuits -
separate switches for the main garden lighting, patio, path, drive or
pergola for example.
Professional design service
Architects, landscape
contractors and garden designers - send us your plans for a
quotation for your requirements. Photographs of the house, key focal
points and any significant features such as mature trees will assist
us to appreciate your project. Project meetings and site visits can
also be arranged upon request where a personal design service is
required.
Telephone and e-mail advice
We are happy to offer
design and applications advice to help you design a lighting scheme,
but - before you ask - please browse this web site and the Help
section of www.lightingforgardens.com;
here you will find design suggestions for garden features as well as
help sheets on such subjects as working out your transformer size,
low voltage cable layout & choosing lamps for spotlights. A few
minutes browsing will probably give you most of the answers. Remember
that when you call us you know what you are looking at and this can
sometimes be difficult to convey in words, so a picture is worth a
thousand words - send one to help us understand your needs.
